<p>PURPOSE: To provide a golf club that prevents a ferrule from unfortunately rising. CONSTITUTION: A tip 5 of a shaft 4 is inserted into a shaft insertion hole 3 of a club head 1 and bonded with an adhesive. A body part 9 of a cylindrical ferrule 7 attached to the shaft 4 is fitted into a wider diameter portion 10 at the open end of the shaft insertion hole 3 so as to reduce a stress concentration at the border between the ferrule 7 and the club head 1. A ring-shaped dent potion 13 is formed along the inner circumference of the wider diameter position 10, and a ring-shaped protruding potion 14 is formed along the outer circumference of the body part 9 of the ferrule 7 so that the protruding potion 14 is fitted into the dent potion 13. The ring-shaped dent potion 13 is fitted into the ring-shaped protruding potion 14 so as to prevent the ferrule from unfortunately rising.</p> |
