FIELD: energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to direct conversion of thermal energy into electric one with vapors of mainly alkali metals used as source of working medium. Invention can find use in experimental studies of thermoemission converters and in reactor tests of thermoemmision electricity-generating assemblies. Generator has housing with evaporation and condensation zones, throttles and steam extraction devices located in evaporation zones, system of recovery of condensed working medium in the form of tube positioned outside of housing which ensures conditions for thermovacuum preparation. Tube with recommended diameter and length can be fitted with heater temperature measurement sensor, filter of oxides and other compositions of working medium.
