<p>PURPOSE: To surely actuate a switch of a sheet size detecting means without being affected by the deformation of a lever, the dimensional errors of each parts, the cam shape, etc. by providing a guide means to guide only the lever which is turned to the second position to the desired position on a device body. CONSTITUTION: When a cassette 15 is set to a body frame, and even when a switch actuating part of a lever 28C tuned to the second position B is fixed to the position, e.g. to the position which is lower than the regular one and where a detecting switch 30 can not be sufficiently actuated, the cassette 15 can be mounted, and the switch actuating part is lifted to the regular position while being guided by a guide member 31, and a spring switch 29 on the device body side is pushed up, and the detecting switch 30 is surely actuated by the spring switch 29. This comes true for the levers 28a, 28b. The guide member 31 is of the shape not to prevent the advancement of the levers 28a, 28b at the first position A.</p> |
