OPTICAL SHAPING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To easily form a master model suitable for casting by adding a gate and a runner to the model corresponding to a cast article and confirming that a defective point such as a void or a sink is not generated in the shape of the model by coagulation-analysis before performing optical shaping. CONSTITUTION: A coagulation analyzing part 10 supplies a molten metal composed of the casting metal set by a casting mold condition setting means 9 from the gate of the three-dimensional image consisting of a model shape, a gate and a runner stored in a three-dimensional image data memory means 6 to fill the model shape with the molten metal through the runner. A defective point-detecting and judging means 12 uses a correction means 16 when a void or a sink is generated in a model from the analytical result of the coagulation- analizing part 10 to perform correction altering the gate inputted from a casting auxiliary condition setting means 3 to the position applied to the model shape. Thereafter, an optical shaping device 14 irradiates a liquid resin with laser beam on the basis of the data stored in a final model data memory means 15 to optically cure the same.
