<p>PURPOSE: To provide a molding method which effectively uses the energy of compressed air in a sand magazine as much as possible and eliminates the limitation of the compressed air having ordinarily pressure limit and can obtain the uniform mold even in the case of a complicate pattern, and a device thereof. CONSTITUTION: In the molding method filling molding sand 4 in the sand magazine 3 arranged above the molding space demarcated with a pattern plate 1 and a molding flask 2 into the molding flask 2, the opening part of the molding space is closed by the same magazine 3 having an opeable/closable injection hole 11 at the bottom surface. The injection hole 11 is closed and also, after charging the molding sand 4 into the sand magazine 3, the inner part of the sand magazine 3 is closed. Gas is slowly introduced into the closed sand magazine 3 to obtain the high pressure mixed material of the molding sand 4 and the gas having 4-9kgf/cm<2> in the sand magazine 3. Then, at the point of time when the pressure in the sand magazine 3 becomes a prescribed height, the injection hole 1 is opened in a short time.</p> |
