PURPOSE: To provide a foam manufacturing method capable of obtaining a good surface state even when the width or thickness of a product is varied, not generating the warpage or bending caused by residual strain, capable of obtaining the product satisfying a planning dimension, not generating trouble such as the cutting of the product and capable of corresponding to high speed production. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin compsn. and a formable resin compsn. containing a foaming agent are melted and kneaded in an extruder 1 and the kneaded mixture is extruded under atmospheric pressure to be foamed and subsequently passed through the resin passage 21 provided in a shaping mold 2 to be shaped to produce foam. In this method, the shaping mold 2 has an air jet part 30 ejecting air to the inlet part 22 of the resin passage and an air suction part 40 sucking air from the resin passage 21. |
