PURPOSE: To simply enable resistance welding without a joint or a flange in joining between hollow closed cross-section frames or between such a frame and an aluminum plate. CONSTITUTION: At the tip end of a second aluminum frame 22, an insertion part 23, 23 is formed in which a first aluminum frame 21 is fit. An insert material 24 is applied on the prescribed part (nugget formed part) of the first frame 21, and the second frame 22 is inserted from above. Indirect welding is performed with electrodes, 11 and 12. Otherwise, series welding may be performed with electrodes, 11 and 13. By either welding, the second frame 22 is joined with the first frame 21. |
