PURPOSE: To provide a head rest capable of simplifying the carrying pass of the stay, and easily and simply processing the surface of the open end of the surface leather with low cost. CONSTITUTION: This head rest has a base body 1 with an inserting hole 11 formed thereon and opening at one end face, a stay 2 with the tip inserted into the fitting hole 11 and detachably held thereby, a bag shaped surface leather member 3 with an area to cover the whole surface of the head rest and with an opening at the position corresponding to the one end face, and a band body 4 to tie between open ends of the surface leather member 3. The band body 4 set crossing the inserting hole 11 in the head rest base body in a state being covered by the surface leather 3 is engaged with a tip connection part 23 of the stay 2 inserted into the inserting hole 11 to be fixed integrally with the stay 2 in the inserting hole 11. |
