PRODUCTION OF MATTE VINYL CHLORIDE-BASED POLYMER AND PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITION OF THE SAME POLYMER

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a vinyl chloride resin (a vinyl chloride-diallyl phthalate copolymer) hardly causing fish eye, excellent in matte effect and having 0.5-2.5wt.% of gel content insoluble in THF in good reproducibility. CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of this method for producing a matte vinyl chloride-based polymer having 0.5-2.5wt.% of gel content insoluble in tetrahydrofuran comprise starting polymerization in the presence of diallyl phthalate in an amount of 0.05-0.25 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of a monomer for polymerization when a monomer for polymerization comprising a vinyl chloride monomer or a vinylic monomer mixture consisting essentially of vinyl chloride monomer is subjected to suspension polymerization in an aqueous medium and adding 0.01-0.15 pts.wt. of 1.6-hexanediol diacrylate or 1,6-hexanediol dimethacrylate to 100 pts.wt. of the monomer for polymerization within the range of 20-60% polymerization ratio after starting polymerization and carrying out polymerization of these components.
