In the indicater for a vacuum cleaner, mounted on a main body to indicate replacement time of a paper filter according to the gathered dust volume level, a fixing member is installed vertically on the main body, and has a partition wall with a slide hole on a middle of an inner space, a slant surface of a given height, and a pair of hooks; and a display is disposed in an inner space of the fixing member and slidably moved by a spring.
