PURPOSE: To enable highly accurate and fast calculation by reducing burden on a measuring person and an examinee in the measurement of the positions of one or a plurality of electrodes attached onto the surface of the examinee. CONSTITUTION: An electrode is provided below (on the side of head skin) a mounting part 5 mounted on a cap 1 and is connected to an organic amplifier 10. A plurality of electromagnetic wave generating sections (loop antenna) 3 are arranged on the cap 1 and driven one at a time by direction of a received data collecting section 13 to output an electromagnetic wave. A receiving section (loop antenna) is mounted above the mounting part 5 and the electromagnetic wave is received with the receiving section to output a received data to the received data collecting secting 13 through a received data selecting section 11. The received data collecting secting 13 adds data for directing an electromagnetic wave source to the received data inputted and outputs then to a received data storage section 15. A position estimating section 17 calculates the position of the electrode using a numerical optimization method and a neural network, based on the aggregation of the received data outputted from the received data storage section 15. |
