摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a lighting device for a vehicle capable of preventing unnecessary operation of a battery by selecting vehicle light emitted from a following vehicle properly to prevent detection mistake from occuring for securing reliability. CONSTITUTION: Brightness of circumference is detected by a brightness sensor 24, and vehicle light emmitted from a following vehicle is selected by a shade 26. Vehicle light selected by a vehicle body sensor 25 installed at a specified height in the rear side of vehicle body is detected and according to the detection results of the sensors 24, 25 a light source is put on or off.
