PURPOSE: To provide a sealing material for solar cell which has improved characteristics required as the sealing material for solar cell such as the adhesion property, transparency, heat resistance, and moisture resistance, and light resistance with a solar cell element and an upper/lower protection material and at the same time has improved lamination machining property and storage property. CONSTITUTION: A pentahydric or higher polyhydric alcohol or its derivative for ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or ethylene-(metha)acrylate ester copolymer 100wt.pt., condensation reaction product 0.01-4wt.pt. with benzaldehyde where aldenyde group is 1.8-2.8 times equivalent weight or larger for polyhydric alcohol and the hydroxyl group of the derivative or its derivative, and silane coupling agent 0.01-4wt.pt. with one or two or more functional groups selected from a group consisting of amino group, glycidyl group, and mercapto group are included. |
