AaRbSicO(4-(a+b+c)/2 (I) R = opt. halogenated 1-18C hydrocarbyl; X = Cl or -OR<1>; R<1> = 1-8C alkyl, opt. with in-chain ether oxygen; a = 0 or 1; b = 0, 1, 2 or 3; c = 0, 1, 2 or 3; a+b+c = not more than 4; A = gp. of formula (II); z = 1, 2, 3 or 4; R<2> = H or Me; and R<3>, R<4> = 1-6C alkylene. Also claimed are (i) processes for the prodn. of cpds. (A); and (ii) photo-crosslinkable compsns. contg. (A) the above organo-polysiloxanes and (B) photosensitisers.
