Spool winding mechanism for metal laminates

The spooling system comprises at least two winding chucks mounted on a rotary drum (1). The two extend along axes parallel to that of the drum, but eccentric w.r.t. the drum axis. By rotation of the drum about its axis, either one or the other chuck may be driven to rotating and wind up the laminate. Each chuck may be rotated about its axis by an independent motor fixed on to the drum in order to turn with the drum into position. Each exerts a couple about the respective chuck axis and is connected to a power supply by means of a rotating joint.
