<p>A junction device for an armoured cable interconnecting a plurality of stations in a ground network. The device comprises a junction box (Bi) comprising a housing, an electromagnetic shield (EBi) and two ports for two respective sections (Ci, C'i) of the armoured cable; and a connector (Mi) comprising a plurality of contacts and an electromagnetic shield. The junction box housing forms the connector housing; the junction box shield (EBi) also forms the connector shield; and the conductors in each cable section are directly connected to the connector contacts.
