PURPOSE: To improve washing efficiency by inserting a liquid discharge pipe into the washing part of wash, spraying a washing liquid to the washing part of the wash to wash away the contaminations of the part, inserting a wiper into the washing part of the wash corresponding to a washing spraying range and wiping away the stains sticking to the washing part by the wiper. CONSTITUTION: A filter 4 and a front part cover 5 are removed to expose a heat exchanger 6 and a liquid receiving tray 7 when a blow-off port 2a and air feed fan 3 of a machine body 2 constituting an interior machine 1 of an air conditioner are going to be washed. Next, the blow-off port 2a formed on the front surface in the lower part of the machine body 2 is enclosed by the liquid receiving cover 8 and a splashing preventive cover 9 is mounted to face the blow-off port 2a. The liquid discharge pipe 10 is then inserted into the blow-off port 2a and the sponge-like wiper 11 mounted on the discharge side of the liquid discharge pipe 10 is deformed and inserted therein; thereafter, the washing liquid is discharged from the liquid discharge pipe 10, by which the contaminations, such as dust and bacteria, sticking to the blow-off port 2a and the air feed fan 3 are washed away. The contaminations are wiped away by the sponge-like wiper 11. |
