<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently culture plant organs or cells by using a relevant device designed to culture plant organs or cells with the convection flow of a culture fluid from above downward along a rectified flow wall as well as the culture fluid flow in the wall crossing direction. CONSTITUTION: A porous partition board 70 to divide the inside space of a bubble tower-type culture tank 10 furnished with a porous rectified flow wall 20 inside into a culture section A and aeration section C through combining with the wall 20 is placed on the lower part of the wall 20, the culture section A is afforded, according as necessary, with a means 80 to promote oxygen feed to the medium B on the lower part of the culture section A, and a sparger 30 is attached on the lower part of the aeration section C. Using the culture tank 10 having the above-mentioned scheme, a compressed air fed via a sterile filter 60 is blown out from the sparger 30 to bring a culture fluid convection flow along the wall 20 from above downward, and concurrently, in such a state as to preserve the culture fluid flow in the wall crossing direction, plant organs or cells are cultured efficiently.</p> |
