<p>PURPOSE: To provide an IC card whose ROM contents can easily be modified without disassembling and replacing it. CONSTITUTION: This IC card is equipped with the ROM 4 which is stored with a program, an input/output part 1 which inputs and outputs signals to and from an external equipment, and a controller 3 which processes the input/output signals sent to and from the external equipments according to the program in the ROM 4. Further, the input/output part 1 is connected to the controller 3 in normal operation and when the contents of the ROM 4 are rewritten by the external equipment, a control gate 2 connects the input/output part 1 to the ROM 4.</p> |
