<p>PURPOSE: To attain a coordinate input operation at any place based on the pen input by detecting the peak of an infrared LED emerging on the video signal of an infrared CCD camera and calculating the coordinate position of the LED from the numbers of both horizontal and vertical clocks to communicate with an external device by the peak detection signal. CONSTITUTION: An infrared CCD camera 2 is attached on a spectacle-shaped frame 1. When an infrared LED 4 enters the photographing range of the camera 2, the peak of the LED 4 emerging on the video signal of the camera 2 is detected by a video signal peak detection circuit 8. Then the coordinate position of the LED 4 is calculated from the numbers of both horizontal and vertical clocks of a horizontal clock circuit 6 and a vertical clock circuit 7 respectively, and the communication is performed with an external device through a communication part 9 by the peak detection signal of the circuit 8. Thus a coordinate input operation is attained at any place based on the pen input and by combination of the camera 2 and an infrared pen 3.</p> |
