PURPOSE: To simplify the configuration of a PCM(pulse code modulation) signal average value calculation circuit used for an AGC function of a telephone conference equipment by specifying number of bits of data used on the way of calculation processing and using conventional devices such as a ROM and a RAM used in general. CONSTITUTION: In order to calculate an average value of PCM signals generated sequentially, a result of integration in the process of integration for a prescribed time is read from a ROM 3 and stored once in a RAM 4 and the value of the integration result is restored again to a PCM signal, and 8-bit data are enough for data processed by the ROM 3 and the RAM 4. Thus, conventional devices are used and the circuit configuration is simplified. |
