PURPOSE: To attain suitable sorting processing for sequence data in plural flagments in respect to sorting processing technique for sequence data such as music data stored in an automatic playing device for an electronic instrument. CONSTITUTION: In a step 601, the value of a time sorting processing end flag is set up to '0'. During the period of judgement whether the value of the end flag is '0' or not in a step 602, a series of processing in steps 603 to 605 is repeatedly executed. In a step 603, the value of the end flag is set up to '1'. In a step 604, sorting processing closed in each flagment is executed for sequence data belonging to each flagment out of plural ones. In a step 605, sorting processing is applied to sequence data located on a connection part between adjacent flagments out of plural ones. When the exchange of sequence data is practically generated in the step 604 or 605, the value of the end flag is set up to '0'. |
