<p>PURPOSE: To collect an information charge based on the value of served information by calculating the required transmission time of information when various kinds of combinations of a communication parameter are set and selecting the communication parameter when the information is transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A communication measuring part 15 measures the lapse time of a call from connection to the present time. An information accumulation part 17 accumulates the information of communication time and transmission data quantity on a collection agency service line, etc. A transmission time arithmetic part 16 calculates facsimile predictive transmission time when the communication parameter is set by combining in various kinds. A communication part 14 searches predictive transmission time nearest to a time in which the lapse time is subtracted from information charge communication time out of calculated facsimile predictive transmission time, and selects the combination of the communication parameter as the one for facsimile communication. Therefore, a reasonable information charge is collected based on the value of the information without changing the operating method of a user.</p> |
