The communication method is applicable to networks where a questioning node is termed manager and an answering node is termed agent, in order to operate a node in a one network with a node in another network. At least one of the nodes in the second network is allocated a system object which belongs to a special object class contg. at least the following attributes: an object identifying attribute; a situation attribute making possible the investigation of the system object situation; an address attribute contg. the address of the agent; and a protocol attribute which states which protocol may be used by the agent. The nodes in the first network establish contact with those in the second network via the system object, and receive information from them. The nodes in the first network seek the nodes in the second network by declaring addresses or by seeking the node which contains the system object. |
