TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER

PURPOSE: To provide a transmitter and a receiver which can transmit and receive the video and voice data by means of a transmission medium that is asynchronous with these transmitter and receiver. CONSTITUTION: The transmitter holds the time information 108 outputted from a CRT103 by a holding circuit 104 in every frame via the frame synchronous output 107. An addition circuit 105 adds the maximum delay time 110 to the time information 109 held by the circuit 104 and outputs the information 109 to a transmission circuit 102. The circuit 102 outputs the addition value 111 to a bus together with the video/voice data 106. At the reception side, a synchronizing signal is produced based on the value 111.
