<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method and an equipment capable of safely charging metallic chips in a melting furnace. CONSTITUTION: A method for recovering metallic chips consists of the step to form the metallic strip in a cylindrical shape, the step to close the bottom part of the cylindrical metallic strip to make a container, the step to throw the recovered metallic chips in the container, the step to close a mouth part of the container containing the recovered chips, and the step to throw the container containing the recovered metallic chips into a melting furnace. An equipment for recovering metallic chips is provided with a means 1 to feed the metallic strip P, a forming machine 2 to form the metallic strip P in the cylindrical shape, a forming machine 3 to close the bottom part of the cylinder of the metallic strip formed in the cylindrical shape to form a container, a forming machine 5 to close the upper part of the cylinder of the strip, a thrower 4 to throw the recovered chips into the container made of the metallic strip, and a discharging device of the container to be connected to the melting furnace so as to feed the recovered chips in the melting furnace.</p> |
