PURPOSE: To eliminate the unequal whiteness of panel display by a difference in the height of bead spacers by improving the non-pixel regions N of color filters to be used for a color liquid crystal display panel of a bead dispersion type to a mesh form, or crossed grid form, etc. CONSTITUTION: The color filters have pixel regions I which are arranged regularly with many color pixels R, G, B for color display by colored layers 12 on a transparent substrate 11 and are formed with a light shieldable black matrix 13 in the adjacent boundary parts of each one pixel and the light shieldable non-pixel regions N of an outside contour shape which are disposed in continuation with the outer side of the pixel regions 1. The light shieldable non-pixel regions N are formed as the meshed or crossed grid-like or parallel grid-like light shieldable patterns 20 so that the bead spacers 3 submerge into the corresponding parts between the meshes or the grids. |
