<p>PURPOSE: To provide a hammer for a piano by which a tone quality or the like of the piano does not change when a hammer felt absorbs moisture with the lapse of time. CONSTITUTION: A hammer 10 for a piano is composed of a hammer wood 12, a hammer felt 14 and an acrylic resin film 18 (shown by hatched lines). The hammer felt 14 is composed of a peripheral surface part 15 containing a string hitting part 15a and large areal both side surface parts 16 and 16 continuing with both sides of this peripheral surface part 15. The acrylic resin film 18 covers all of both side surface parts 16 and 16 of the hammer felt 14, and also covers the peripheral surface 15 except the string hitting part 15a. This acrylic resin film 18 has a thickness of 0.1 to 0.2mm.</p> |
