HEAT SHIELDING STRUCTURE OF RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT

PURPOSE: To obtain the lightweight heat shielding structure of a resin molded product without requiring many parts or many assembling processes by integral ly molding a sheet like heat shielding material equipped with a resin adhesive means along with a resin material to bond the same to the surface of the resin molded product. CONSTITUTION: An engine under cover 1 for a car is a resin molded product equiped with a heat shielding structure. Laminated aluminum foil 10 being a sheet like heat shielding material is integrally molded along with a resin material to be bonded to the predetermined place of the engine under cover 1. The paper part or resin film part 10a of the laminated aluminum foil 10 acts as the adhesive means with the resin material of the engine under cover 1 to certainly bond the laminated aluminum foil 10 to the engine under cover 1. At the time of molding, the laminated aluminum foil 10 is preliminarily bonded to an upper mold 6 weakly and a resin 8 is extruded to a lower mold 7 from an extruder to be integrally molded on the laminated aluminum foil 10 to obtain the engine under cover 1 having the laminated aluminum foil 10 bonded thereto.
