FILM PACKAGE OF TAPE CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: To easily open the shrinkable film of the film package of a tape cartridge subjected to shrink packing without using a tear tape. CONSTITUTION: A tape cartridge 1 is housed in a book case-shaped housing case 2. A take-out notch part 17 is provided to the housing case 2 and the recessed part 10 of the tape cartridge 1 is exposed from the notch part 17. The entire surface of the housing case 2 and the exposed part of the tape cartridge 1 are subjected to shrink packing using a shrinkable film 3 and a slit line 19 is provided to the part covering the recessed part 10 of the shrinkable film 3. A part of the shrinkable film 3 can be easily ruptured by pressing the slit line 19 upwardly and the shrinakable film can be easily peeled from the outer surface of the housing case 2 while the whole thereof is ruptured by holding the ruptured piece to pull the same.
