<p>PURPOSE: To provide a producing method of an Fe3 Al base alloy-made member (e.g. round bar, pipe, plate, etc.), in which the elongation at the room temp. can further be improved in the Fe3 Al base alloy showing excellent corrosion resistance even under the severe high temp. corrosive environment. CONSTITUTION: Hot-extrusion or hot-rolling is executed by using a preform applying the hot-working at >=800 deg.C to a cast block of the Fe3 Al base alloy having Fe3 Al series intermetallic compound as the main constituting phase. At the time of producing the Fe3 Al base alloy-made round bar or pipe, a method, in which the preform is heated to <=1100 deg.C and the hot-extrusion is executed at >=10mm/sec extruding speed, is recomended. At the time of producing the Fe3 Al base alloy-made plate, a method, in which the preform is heated to <=900 deg.C, and the hot-rolling is executed, is desirable.</p> |
