PURPOSE: To provide a music teaching system through which effective music education is given in an enjoyable manner. CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with an information inputting means 5, an image displaying means 23, a musical instrument controlling means 6, a musical tone generating means 10, an image generating means 20 and a system controlling means 1. When information relative to musical instrument playing is inputted through the means 5, musical instruments which are ready for playing are displayed on the means 23. A muscial instrument, which is to be played by a user, is selected among plural musical instruments through the means 5 and is made playable. When the means 6 corresponding to the playable instrument is operated, the means 10 generates the muscial tone of the instrument based on the operation of the instrument and the picture based on the playing operation is generated by the means 20. |
