PURPOSE: To eliminate unsightly appearance caused by the color irregularity and irregular attitude of cells of a solar battery without increasing a manufacturing cost so much by protrusively setting plural ribs extending in a direction crossing with the arranged direction of the cell of the solar battery on the external surface of a transparent protecting plate. CONSTITUTION: The solar battery 301 is constituted by serially mutually connecting solar battery cells 301a to 301e which are mutually arranged in parallel in a horizontal direction. A protection cover 102 is held on a position where a main part on the front surface of the camera main body 101 is covered in the case the camera is not used and the battery 301 generates power, and is turned downward in front of the main body 101 in the case of photographing. The plural ribs 104a extending in a vertical direction are protrusively set on the external surface (surface on a side which is not opposed to the battery 301) of the transparent protecting plate 104. Thus, damage becomes inconspicuous on the light incident surface side of the plate 104 even in the case of damaging it, and the battery 301 on the back can not be clearly viewed through the plate 104. |
