<p>PURPOSE: To stably form a satisfactory image with a developer obtd. by mixing a binder type carrier contg. magnetic powder dispersed in a resin with a toner. CONSTITUTION: When a binder type carrier contg. magnetic powder dispersed in a resin is mixed with a toner to obtain a developer for an electrostatic latent image, the magnetic powder is contained by 500-950 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the resin and the loose apparent specific gravity of the carrier and that of the developer are allowed to satisfy conditions represented by the formulae AD0 -AD5 <=0.300 and AD10 -AD20 <=0.200 (where AD0 is the loose apparent specific gravity of only the carrier and AD5 , AD10 and AD20 are the loose apparent specific gravities of developers having 5%, 10% and 20% toner contents, respectively).</p> |
