PURPOSE: To provide the liquid crystal display device for a camera, which eliminates a need for power source, cells and the like by making use of self light emitting type light accumulating material and the like, and thus is simple in constitution but excellent in efficiency. CONSTITUTION: In the liquid crystal display device for a camera including a reflection type liquid crystal panel 1A, a light accumulating member 11 is provided, which is disposed at the back face side of the liquid crystal panel 1A to illuminate the liquid crystal panel 1A from the back face side. Besides, as a reflecting plate for the reflection type liquid crystal panel 1A, a light accumulating member illuminating the liquid crystal panel 1A is disposed therein. Moreover, in the liquid crystal display device for a camera including the reflection type liquid crystal panel which is made up of two panes of glass disposed up and down in such a way that liquid crystals are being sealed in between, an upper polarizing plate stuck onto the upper surface of one of the two panes of glass, a lower polarizing plate stuck onto the lower surface of the other of them, and of a reflecting plate disposed at the lower section of the lower polarizing plate, the lower polarizing plate includes light accumulating material which can accumulates light, and also can emit light. |
