IMMUNOLOGICAL MEASUREMENT METHOD FOR N-PEPTIDE SANDWICH

PURPOSE: To quickly and easily measure N-peptide in blood or its precursor with high accuracy by adding monoclonal antibodies recognizing N-peptide and labeled monoclonal antibodies recognizing N-peptide to a sample and incubating. CONSTITUTION: An animal such as a mouse or rat is immunized by antibodies using peptide fragments of an arbitrary part of N-peptide, hybridoma for yielding monoclonal antibodies recognizing N-peptide is obtained by blending a spleen cell originated preferably from an immunized mouse and a myeloma cell originated from a mammal and cultivated preferably in vivo to obtain monoclonal antibodies. After the antibody is fixed to a solid phase and incubated together with a sample containing an antigen, an antibody labeled by an enzyme or a fluorescent material is added. The obtained mixture is incubated for detecting a produced composite comprising the labeled antigen and antibody.
