<p>PURPOSE: To provide a rotary connector in which an elastic tongue piece stuck so as to prevent reverse buckling can be surely prevented from being peeled from a flexible cable. CONSTITUTION: A rotating plate 20 having a fixed cylinder 19 having a guide projection 19a and a reversing roller 21A set opposite to each other thereon is rotatably arranged within a ring housing space 14 partitioned between the outer cylinder part 6 of a first housing 1 and the inner cylinder part 13 of a second housing 2. A flexible cable 3 is wound in the reverse direction, the reversed part 3a is inserted between the fixed cylinder 19 and the reversing roller 21A, and an elastic tongue piece 17 in which the free end side part 17b of the top end is substantially linearly formed in non-load state is stuck to the inner surface of the flexible cable 3. Thus, the deformation of the free end side part can be minimized when it forms the reversed part, and the top end of the elastic tongue piece is hardly peeled from the flexible cable.</p> |
