The invention concerns a ceiling fastening device for a plug box pillar comprising a tightening component arranged in the upper end of the plug box pillar 5 for bracing the pillar between floor and ceiling 10. The tightening component comprises a thread mechanism by which the length of the tightening component can be adjusted. To achieve a quick and easy installation, the thread mechanism comprises a hand-operated sleeve section 2, provided with an inner thread, whose thread is arranged to co-operate with a threaded foot section 3 arranged in the sleeve section 2. The other end of the sleeve section 2 is provided with a dowel piece 4, thrusting against a stop arranged in the upper end of the plug box pillar 5 and turning freely in the stop. <IMAGE> |
