<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the number of signal wires, inside a signal cable, to be connected to a printed board on an accessor by providing a plurality of selective circuits for selectively setting two checking signal wires in a conducting state and a non-conducting state. CONSTITUTION: Confirming state of a plurality of signal cables 74, 76a, 16b, 78, 80 before and behind a plurality of selective circuits 90, 92, 94, 96 for selectively setting two checking signal wires 132, 134 in a conducting and non-conducting states can be performed. Therefore, merely two checking signal wires are sufficient besides a signal wire for actuating the selective circuits so the number of signal wires inside a signal cable is reducible. Consequently, the load of a library device at the time of moving an accessor can be reduced because not only the weight of the signal wires inside the signal cable but also the weight of the covering material covering the signal wires can be reduced. Thus the accessor of the library device can be move with high speed.</p> |
