<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate the need to input all characters of an input character string sequentially, to improve operability and shorten an input time, and to prevent misinput as much as possible. CONSTITUTION: This device has an input image display means B1 which displays an input image for inputting characters at a display part A, a character input means B2 which displays a key image that can be selected with a mouse D at the display part A and inputs the character corresponding to the selected key image, a dictionary storage means C1 which stores many character strings, an input condition storage means C2 which stores input conditions, a list display means B3 which retrieves character strings corresponding to one or >=2 characters inputted by the character input means B2 from the dictionary storage means C1 and displays their list at the display part A so that a choice of the list can be made with the mouse D, and a condition comparing means B4 which displays candidates, etc., selected out of the list as an input determined character string on the input screen when the candidates meet the input conditions and prompts input again when not.</p> |
