<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image forming method by which a sharp and clear line image can be obtd. CONSTITUTION: An electrophotographic device used in this method is equipped with at least a developing means having a one-component developer, a transfer means to transfer a developer image to a transfer material, and a heating and fixing means to fix the developer image to the transfer material. The surface roughness (Ra) of the base body of a developer carrying body which carries the one-component developer is <=1.0μm. An electrostatic charge image is developed with a one-component developer to form a developer image while the surface of the developer carrying body in the developing zone moves at a speed 1.02 to 2 times as fast as the speed of the electrostatic latent image holding body facing the carrying body. The amt. of the developer (M/S) applied on the developer carrying body is specified to <=30g/m<2> .</p> |
