DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER

摘要

PURPOSE: To secure the strength available for a diesel particulate filter by producing nonwoven fabric by combining fibers different in fiber length. CONSTITUTION: This diesel particulate filter is constituted of the nonwoven fabric having the structure that inorg. fiber materials different in fiber length are mixed and laminated in randam direction and the filters are woven partially. The tensile yield stress per 50mm width of the nonwoven fabric is >=80kgf. The nonwoven fabric is composed of two or more kinds of a long fiber having 30-100mm average length and short fiber having 10-30mm average length. The volume proportion occupied by the short fiber in the nonwoven fabric is defined as 10-60vol%.
