<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a relining material for denture base having excellent surface hardening property without unpleasant odor, stimulation nor using a specific hardener by comprising a specific powder component and solution components. CONSTITUTION: The objective relining material contains a polymer powder of a methacrylate added with benzoyl peroxide as a powder component and following (a)-(f) as solution components. (a) 2.5-15wt.% methyl methacrylate, (b) 20-40wt.% a compound of the formula (R is an alkyl or phenyl), (c) 41-75wt.% methacrylate, (d) 0.5-1.5wt.% at least one kind selected from 4- dimethylaminobenzoate and 4,4'-dimethylaminobenzophenone, (e) 2-3wt.% an aromatic tertiary amine other than 4-dimethylaminobenzoate and 4,4'- dimethylaminobenzophenone and (f) 0.09-0.15wt.% polymerization inhibitor. Benzoyl peroxide is added to the powder component in an amount of 0.5-1.5wt.%. The powder component is blended with the solution components and piled up on a mucosa face part of the denture base, then placed in oral cavity, thus hardened by polymerization and used to adjust fitness of the denture base.</p> |
