PURPOSE: To provide a simulated manipulating force producing device with a simple structure capable of practical and safe simulated manipulation. CONSTITUTION: A reaction force to a steering wheel 100 is added to the steering wheel 100 by a manipulating reaction force producing mechanism 1 of a mechanical structure. Then, a rotation angle of the steering wheel 100 is detected by a detector 3. A torque control mechanism is controlled by a controller 4 based on the detected signal S1 from the detector 3 and a prescribed magnitude of resistance is added to the steerig wheel 100. |
