<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic copying method that can manufacture transparent positive at the maximum transmission density of 2.00 or more. SOLUTION: In an electrostatic copying method including a process of applying toner grain to a final non-photoconductive support body according to an image so as to fix the toner grain on the final support body, (1) the toner grain contains at least one kind of reduced form (compound A), and the final support body contains at least a kind of substantially non-photosensitive silver salt (compound B) or reverse. Light-absorbing material can be formed in the final support body by the reaction of the compounds A, B; (ii) the toner grain contains light-absorbing pigment or dye at a request; (iii) the light-absorbing material can provide maximum density (Dmax)>2.00 by itself or in combination with the light-absorbing pigment or dye; and (iv) the toner grain is fixed onto the final support body by heat or heat and pressure.</p> |
