<p>PURPOSE: To provide a data processing method of a coordinate input device whereby only effective data is stably outputted while excluding erroneous data due to the fluctuation of pressure in writing, etc., without being affected by writing speed at the time of an input operation. CONSTITUTION: At first, coordinate data (N) is fetched (S1) by an optional timing. Then, every travelling distances (ΔLn ,ΔLn-1 ) and their mutual deviationsΔH between respective coordinate data are obtained (S2) from coordinate data (N) and two kinds of coordinate data (N-1, N-2) which are fetched immediately before. In succession, the mutual deviationΔH is compared with a threshold value Q for judging effective data (S3), coordinate data (N) is transferred (S4) as effective data when the mutual deviationΔH is below the threshold value Q and information that data is the erroneous one is added (S5) to coordinate data (N) when the mutual deviationΔH exceeds the threshold value Q.</p> |
