<p>PURPOSE: To decrease the number of IC components, to lower the cost, and to reduce the size by generating a one-chip microcomputer, wherein circuits required for respective applications are incorporated, by altering a small number of masks. CONSTITUTION: Connection terminals are arranged at the periphery of a gate array (GA) part 7 so that an internal timing signal 10, a reset signal 11, and the output signal 12 of an instruction decoder generated with an instruction can be connected from a CPU part 4 to the GA part 7 and an interruption signal 13 can be connected from the GA part 7 to the CPU part 4 reversely. An input terminal for an external timing signal 15, an input terminal for inputting the output 14 of an input/output port circuit 5, and an input terminal for inputting the signal of an internal bus 6 are similarly arranged. Thus, one aluminum mask is altered to generate the one-chip microcomputer which has various input/output teriminals and also has an optional peripheral circuit controlled with various signals of the CPU 4.</p> |
