摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electrification property, sensitivity and stability for repeated use, and as a result, which can stably form the sharp image of high density without fog for a long time by incorporating a hole transfer material and a specified indandione deriv. or ninhydrin deriv. into a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION: This photoreceptor consists of a charge generating layer(CGL) 2 and a charge transfer layer(CTL) 3 successively formed on the conductive substrate 1. The charge transfer layer(CTL) 3 contains an indandione deriv. or ninhydrin deriv. expressed by formula. In formula, Y is CH2 group or C(OH)2 , R is a hydrogen atom or alkyl groups, (m) is an integer 1 to 4. The indandione deriv. or ninhydrin deriv. expressed by formula is preferably included by 0.05-30wt.%, especially preferably 0.1-20wt.% in the charge transfer layer 3. Moreover, a dihydropyrazole bisazo pigment is added as a charge generating agent to CGL 2.</p>
