PURPOSE: To obtain an image processing system which provides an image display with presence by displaying an actual picture processing character other than stored patterns. CONSTITUTION: Actual image data are inputted by a CCD camera 5 and character data are extracted by an image extraction part 6 and stored in an actual picture character memory 7. An image selection part 8 selects proper actual picture character data which are close to at least two forms of image data registered in a graphic character memory 4 out of the stored data. An image generation part 9 generates successive forms of character data from the selected actual picture character data. Those actual picture character data and generated character data are put together with registered background image data 11 and stored in an image memory 10. As a game advances by using a console panel 12, the character data stored in the image memory 10 are stored in a display memory 13 and displayed on a CRT 14. |
