<p>PURPOSE: To improve reliability of actuation by stopping a drive motor in case when door opening is detected while a movable orientating means moves and thereafter restarting movement of the movable orientating means along the same direction as the moving direction before door opening in the case when door closing is detected. CONSTITUTION: When an electric power source is switched on, an indexer of sorter is moved to a home position by a control part 156, but the output pulse number of an encoder clock sensor 154 to detect rotation of a drive motor 140 of an indexer driving mechanism in accordance with rise of the indexer after on motion of the home position sensor is counted. In this case, a door switch 172 to detect door opening and closing to close an opening for jam settlement provided on a frame body is provided. Thereafter, in the case when door opening is detected while the indexer moves, the drive motor 140 is stopped, and at the time of detecting door closing thereafter, the indexer is controlled to restart movement along the same direction as before door opening.</p> |
